I actually do have a question about the navigation system:
As stated before, I bought the car in januari,
including the Europe map navigation, and I was assured I could get the
latest navigation map for free the first 90 days. My version in the car
right now is v937.v5935 while the version in the R-Link store is
v940.6003 released on 03/02/2015 but I don't get the update for this one
although I'm still in my 90 days period. When I go to the update
section, it just tells me that there are no updates for my car. So how
can I still get this update before my 90 days end?

There is the possibility of updating the map during the first 90 days but only once, each user is only entitled to one update during that period.

Even if more than one update is release during this period it will only count the first one. Also, the map versions on the store, that are available for purchase, are released earlier than the free updates, so it can also happen sometimes that the commercial version is already available but the free update not.

Thanks for clearing that up, even if it's not what I wanted to hear. It's still misleading to advertise with the "latest map" when you're only entitled to get one free update.

Furthermore I must say I'm shocked to see the pricing of the new / updated maps offered in the R-Link store compared to the regular TomTom prices (which even includes multiple map updates or even lifetime updates and not just one update like in the R-Link store). I hope Renault will soon realise that this price is far too high and will adjust accordingly.
